"This life is like a vast ocean in which the boat of our life is in the hands of the Almighty; He can sink it if He wishes, or He can bring it to the shore. But the Almighty has created one very beautiful thing, and that is love, without which the entire world is incomplete. If one doesn't find love in life, life starts feeling colorless—whether it is the love of parents, siblings, or a spouse. If there is love in life, it doesn't matter even if a person remains hungry; there is always a joy in the heart that someone loves us deeply, values us, and understands our smallest joys and feelings. But if one doesn't get love from anyone in life, then life becomes aimless. We want to live, but what is living without love for 'love'? When we don't feel that our presence or absence makes a difference to anyone, then for whom should we live?

The definition of love itself is different. If we love God, it is called devout worship. If we love our parents, we look at them with respect and honor. If we love our siblings, we look at them with affection and tenderness. And if we love our husband or wife, it is seen with love and dignity. But if love is given to someone who loves us, or someone we consider our own, why is that same love turned into a curse? Why is it looked upon with eyes of wrongness, illegitimacy, infamy, and hatred? Love is still love; why is human thinking so flawed? Loving is not a sin. Love is just love—it knows no good or bad, right or wrong; regardless of whom it is for, its status will always remain the highest. And then humans even forget their humanity; this is love, and fulfilling it is not within everyone's power.

A person is born once and dies once. In life, one truly loves only once... which I have found in you."

पन्ना 1: प्यार की परिभाषा (25 दिसम्बर 2012)

"ये जीवन एक भव सागर है जिसमें हमारी ज़िंदगी की नाव ऊपर वाले के हाथ में है वह चाहे डुबा दे वह चाहे तो किनारे पर लगा दे। लेकिन ऊपर वाले ने एक चीज़ बड़ी अच्छी बनाई है वो है प्यार जिसके बिना सारी दुनिया अधूरी है। अगर जीवन में प्यार न मिले तो ज़िंदगी बेरंग सी लगने लगती है फिर चाहे वह प्यार माँ-बाप का हो या भाई-बहन का और चाहे पति-पत्नी का। अगर जीवन में प्यार है तो इंसान एक टाइम भूखा भी रहे तो कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता हमेशा दिल में एक ख़ुशी रहती है कि हमसे कोई बहुत प्यार करता है और हमारी कदर करता है हमारी छोटी बड़ी ख़ुशी को हमारी भावनाओं को समझता है। पर जीवन में अगर किसी का भी प्यार नहीं मिलता तब ज़िंदगी बे-वजह हो जाती है। हम जीना चाहते है मगर प्यार से प्यार नहीं तो जीना कैसा जब हमें लगता ही नहीं कि हमारे रहने ना रहने से किसी को कोई फर्क पड़ेगा तो किसके लिए जिए।

प्यार की परिभाषा ही अलग है। अगर हम भगवान से प्यार करते तो उन्हें श्रद्धा पूर्वक पूज्यनीय कहा जाता है। अगर हम अपने माँ बाप से प्यार करते तब उन्हें आदर और सम्मान की नज़र से देखते है और अगर हम अपने भाई बहन से प्यार करते है तो उन्हें लाड़ दुलार स्नेह की नज़र से देखते हैं और अगर हम अपने पति या पत्नी से प्यार करते हैं तो उसे प्यार और इज़्ज़त से देखा जाता है। और अगर प्यार उससे किया जाये जो हमसे प्यार करता है या हम जिसे अपना समझते हैं तो वही प्यार श्राप बन जाता है उसे गलत, नाजायज़, बदनामी और घृणा की नज़र से क्यों देखा जाता है? प्यार तो वही है फिर इंसान की सोच इतनी गलत क्यों है? प्यार करना कोई पाप तो नहीं है। प्यार तो प्यार होता है प्यार अच्छा, बुरा, सही, गलत, नहीं जानता फिर वह चाहे जिससे भी किया जाये इसका दर्जा सबसे ऊँचा ही रहेगा। और फिर तो इंसान अपनी इंसानियत तक भूल जाते हैं फिर तो ये प्यार है इसे निभाना हर किसी के बस की बात नहीं।

आदमी एक बार जन्म लेता है और एक बार मरता है। जीवन में सिर्फ़ एक बार ही सच्चा प्यार करता है जो हमें आपसे हो गया है।"
