कभी तुम्हारी मीठी-मीठी बातें मेरे जहाँ पर छा जाती हैं, कभी तुम्हारे प्यार की खुशबू मेरी सांसों में महक जाती है।

बस यूं ही है... अकेले होकर भी अकेलापन महसूस नहीं होता।

जिन्हें नसीब में पतझड़ की सौगात मिली, भारी बहार में वो फूल भी कैसे खिलें?

जिनके दामन भी कांटों से भरे होते हैं, दूर होते हैं होठों से सभी शिकवे-गिले। खुशी के फूल महकते नहीं सभी के लिए।

​5. दुनिया की बेरुखी

ना जाने क्यों नहीं जीने देते दुनिया वाले, जहर भी हंस कर नहीं पीने देते दुनिया वाले।

जब कभी घबरा कर सोते हैं मरने के लिए, इतने संगदिल हैं कि मरने भी नहीं देते दुनिया वाले।
