​मोहब्बत का सफ़र: राधिका की डायरी

​1. रिश्तों की शुरुआत (The Cycle of Beginnings)

​दिन की शुरुआत होती है रात से

रात की शुरुआत होती है सपनों से

सपनों की शुरुआत होती है अपनों से

और अपनों की आपसे।

(The day begins with the night; the night begins with dreams; dreams begin with loved ones; and loved ones begin with you.)

​2. आपकी अहमियत (Your Importance)

​दिल को चाहत नहीं है बहारों की

हमें तमन्ना नहीं है नज़ारों की

अगर मिल जाए आप जैसा एक दोस्त

तो जरुरत नहीं है हज़ारों की।

(The heart has no desire for springs; I have no longing for scenic views. If I find a friend like you, there is no need for thousands.)

​3. दोस्ती की मिसाल (Example of Friendship)

​दोस्ती जान से प्यारी हो

सीने में याद तुम्हारी हो

देख के जल जाए जमाना दोस्ती ऐसी हमारी हो

की खुदा तुम्हारी जान मांगे और मौत हमारी हो।

(May friendship be dearer than life; may your memory reside in my chest. May our friendship be such that the world burns with envy; that God asks for your life, but death becomes mine.)

​4. आज़माइश का डर (The Fear of Being Tested)

​उनको सक है की मैं उनके लिए जान अपनी जान नहीं दे सकता

और मुझे डर है की वो रोयेंगे बहुत मुझे आज़माने के बाद।

(They doubt that I cannot give my life for them; and I fear that they will cry a lot after putting me to the test.)

​5. आपके ख्यालात (Your Thoughts)

​आँखों में ख्वाबों के नज़ारे ना होते

चाँद संग रात में तारे ना होते

यकीन करो हम भी नहीं करते विश

अगर आपके ख्यालात इतने प्यारे ना होते।

(There would be no sights of dreams in the eyes; there would be no stars with the moon in the night. Believe me, even I wouldn't make a wish, if your thoughts weren't so lovely.)

​6. चाँद-सितारों के बीच (Between Moon and Stars)

​हँसते रहें आप हज़ारों के बीच में

जैसे हँसते हैं फूल बहारों के बीच में

रोशन हो आप दुनिया में इस तरह

जैसे होता है चाँद सितारों के बीच में।

(May you keep smiling among thousands, just as flowers smile amidst springs. May you be as radiant in the world as the moon is among the stars.)

​आज का मज़बूत सवाल (The Strong Question) ❓

​"क्या वाकई 'दोस्ती' उस मुकाम तक पहुँच सकती है जहाँ खुदा एक की ज़िंदगी मांगे और मौत दूसरे के गले लग जाए?"
