The Unfulfilled Dream

​A riverbank, hand in hand, and you by my side...

​A cool breeze, a serene garden, the murmuring river, the cascading waterfall, and you by my side...

​A golden evening, peanuts in our hands, a glowing twilight, the moon’s abode, the starlight’s glow, and you by my side...

​The evening of life, a tiny bud (my child) in our hands, a smile on her face, every wish of hers fulfilled, and you by my side...

​A high sky, a playful wind, the gentle earth, the chirping of birds, and you by my side...

​This is the only dream that lives in my eyes day and night; life filled with joy, you in that joy, and you by my side...

​A riverbank, hand in hand, and you by my side...

नदी का किनारा हो हाथों में हाथ हो और तुम साथ हो

 ठंडी पवन हो शीतल चमन हो कल कल नदी हो झर झर झरना हो और तुम साथ हो

 सुनहरी शाम हो हाथों में मूंगफली हो सुनहरी सी शमा हो चांद का हो डेरा तारों की चांदनी हो और तुम साथ हो 

जीवन की शाम हो नन्ही सी कली हमारे हांथ हो उसके चेहरे पर मुस्कान हो हर आरजू उसकी बुलंद हो और  तुम साथ हो 

ऊंचा गगन हो चंचल पवन हो कोमल धरा हो पंछियों का शोर हो और तुम साथ हो 

बस यही सपना आंखों में मेरे अब दिन रात हो जीवन में खुशियां हो खुशियों में तुम हो और तुम साथ हो

 नदी का किनारा हो हाथों में हाथ हो
